Automotive
Series production quality to IATF 16949
An automotive cable assembly is the serial manufacture of wiring harnesses, connector assemblies and data lines under the quality standards of the automotive industry — first and foremost IATF 16949 and VDA 2. FiaBuc Kabelkonfektion GmbH has been manufacturing for the automotive sector since 1994 — with the experience of a specialist and the discipline of an IATF-certified serial supplier. Our environmental management follows ISO 14001, and processing is performed in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Automotive deliveries are safety-critical. A single defective crimp on a safety component can trigger six- or seven-figure recall costs. That is why the automotive industry is the only sector that has imposed its own, stricter quality standard: IATF 16949. We live this standard — including 8D reporting, process FMEA, control plan and SPC statistics.
