Defense cable assembly

Reliability under the most extreme conditions

Defense cable assembly is the manufacture of wiring harnesses and connector assemblies to the elevated requirements of military applications — including VG 96927, MIL-DTL-38999, MIL-C-5015 and IPC/WHMA-A-620. We combine the discipline of an IATF 16949-certified automotive supplier with the ruggedness of defense assembly — a combination that is rare in Germany.

  • Defense assemblies must withstand extreme conditions: vibration (e.g. per MIL-STD-810), electromagnetic fields (e.g. per MIL-STD-461), wide temperature ranges (-55 °C to +125 °C or higher), salt spray, chemical exposure and mechanical stress. A defense assembly is often deployed for decades — repairs are expensive and failures are not acceptable.
